The Canal limited is the only excursion which begins at our depot in Peninsula. Board the train and enjoy a leisurely trip north to Canal Visitor Center. The center is a restored house on the Ohio & Erie Canal. Learn about the canal days in the museum and watch the canal lock demonstrations held every weekend during the summer. Canal Visitor Center is staffed by National Park Service rangers.
