Voices of the Valley Audio Tour
Immerse yourself in the stories and sounds of the Cuyahoga Valley through the Voices of the Valley audio tour. Hear tales about the earliest settlement of the valley, the coming of the Ohio & Erie Canal and Valley Railway, the creation of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the return of wildlife and more. All you have to do is [put on the headphones and turn the volume to a comfortable level. The tour will play automatically using GPS technology as the train passes through the valley.

Peninsula Explorer
Climb aboard CVSR and journey through the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park to the historic Village of Peninsula. Enjoy a hike or bike along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, explore the unique shops for that special item, and treat yourself to lunch at a local restaurant. CVSR invites you to spend the day discovering this quaint canal-era town.

*The Akron Northside Station is temporarily closed due to bridge construction.  It will re-open March 2012.  Service and boarding has been re-located to the Botzum Station - 2928 Riverview Rd., Akron, OH 44313.

Canal Explorer - Offered Year Round!
Board the train, and you will soon be transported through CVNP to the Canal Visitor Center. This canal-era structure and its associated lock will give you a glimpse into the past. Feel the white oak of the whaler gates, marvel at the workings of a canal lock, and explore the exhibits that take you on a journey over 10,000 years in the making.

Akron Explorer -
Make a Day of It! Combine a train ride through the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park with a visit to one of Akron’s many exciting attractions. Bus transportation is included, admission to the attraction is additional. Choose from the Akron Art Museum, Akron Zoo,  or enjoy lunch at the Spaghetti Warehouse.  You can also explore places like the Northside Area, the Mustill Store at Cascade Locks Parks or take a walk along the Ohio & Erie Canalway.

You can also visit Hale Farm and Village - though this trip is ONLY offered for those departing Brecksville Station at 9:10 am. You will get off the train at Indigo Lake and Hale Farm sends their tram to pick you up and then returns you to the train station at 2:50 pm for a 3:35 pm arrival back at Brecksville Station.

Canton Explorer
Offered June, July and August only. Service ends August 28, 2011.

Combine a train ride through the urban countryside travelling to the City of Canton where you can visit one of the city’s unique attractions. Choose from the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Canton Museum of Art, Canton Classic Car Museum or National First Ladies’ Library, Education and Research Center.
