Parking at all the stations is free.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY TICKETS AT THE STATION?
CVSR can accept cash, or Visa, Mastercard and Discover for tickets, as well as in the Concession Car.
CAN YOU ACCOMODATE MY WHEELCHAIR?
Yes! CVSR has a ADA / handicap accessible car with a lift. Boarding with a wheelchair is limited to Rockside Station and Akron Northside Station. Please call our offices at 800-468-4070 ext. 1 to book your trip!
There are restrooms in most train cars, as well as at most of the stations.
IS THERE FOOD ON THE TRAIN?
The Concession Car aboard the Scenic Train is stocked with freshly prepared sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit cups, snacks and more! We also carry Coca-Cola bottled products. CVSR uses locally owned and operated services to provide a fresh selection for you to enjoy! Prices are reasonable - plus you can pick up a souvenir of your adventure while on board.
HOW DO I FIND MY SEAT ONCE I AM AT THE STATION?
When the train arrives, generally there is a short delay before everything is secure and the trainmen are ready to get you boarded. An announcement will be made directing you where you need to go to get on board and find a a comfy seat.
WHAT IF I MISS THE TRAIN?
If you have already purchased tickets, and miss your departure, we can put you on stand-by for the next departure. If you miss a special event, tickets cannot be refunded or transferred, as space was held for you during that event. If you miss the train to board after a layover, you will have to find your own ride back to your car.

There is no smoking on the train or around the stations.
No Firearms are permitted on the train.
