Lunch Along the Cuyahoga 
Saturdays and Sundays 
All Ages. Passengers ages 3 and over need a ticket
Departs from Peninsula Depot at 11:35 a.m.

Climb aboard and enjoy a delicious four-course lunch, catered by Creekside Restaurant of Brecksville, while you make your way through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park! This excursion runs from 11:45 a.m.-1:45pm. On board, you will be served an appetizer, salad, main course, dessert and your choice of coffee, tea, or water. A meal option for children is also available. See menu in each ticket description. Seating is in our table car in sections of four (two seats facing two seats). Seats are assigned.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $27 for children (ages 3-12). Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.

Read Aboard the Train 
Tuesdays and Thursdays
All Ages. Passengers ages 3 and over need a ticket
Departs from Peninsula Depot at 9:40 a.m. and 11:35 a.m.

Climb aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for this family-based reading program! Children and families will board the train and learn about where to find interesting books to read, have a short story time and participate in a creative hands-on art activity.

Seating in our table car. Tickets are in sections of four, at dining table and chairs, with two seats facing two seats. Seating is assigned. Ticket includes hour and a half train ride, craft and story time. Passengers are free to bring on  a small snack.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children 3+. Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.

Evening Dining on the Rails
Fridays
Recommended for ages 14 and over
Departs from Peninsula Depot at 5:40 p.m.dining train tables

Enjoy a delicious three course dinner on the rails as you take in the scenery of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Seating is in our dining cars. Seats are sold individually from sections of four-top dining tables. Menus can be found under each ticket description. The excursion runs from 5:40-7:15 p.m.

Hale Farm Explorer
Wednesdays-Sundays 
All Ages. Passengers ages 3 and over need a ticket
Departs from Rockside Station at 9 a.m. or 
Departs from Akron Northside Station at 10:55 a.m.

Travel by train to this premier collection and property of Western Reserve Historical Society! Hale Farm & Village is an outdoor living history museum. Here you will experience daily mid-19th century life depicted through dozens of historic structures, farm animals, heritage gardens, cooking presentations and demonstrations of Early American craft and trades. You’ll board the train at the Rockside Station then a tram will meet you at the Indigo Lake Station, where you will travel to historic Hale Farm & Village.
